Our Vision Board
What is a Vision Board?
Success in business, as in all areas of your life, requires a clear vision and consistent action. Your life to a large extent is the result of your dominant thoughts. Nothing will happen by itself. It will all come your way once you have a clear vision and consistent thinking and action based on your vision.
Vision boards can be a very powerful tool to help you manifest the things you desire to be/have/do in your life. It is a physical representation of your goals and desires. A vision board can be made up of snapshots, pictures cut out of a magazine, words….anything that gives you a visual reminder of what you want to manifest in your life. However you decide to make your vision board the important part is not in the making of it, but in the using of it. Each time your eye is drawn to your vision board and you see the words and images, take a minute and really stop and feel what it will be like when those desires are your reality. That is a key thing about visualizing and using a vision board to its' highest potential. You can't just look at it; you have to feel it, be it, and know it is yours!!
After watching the movie 'The Secret' and learning about the powerful impact of vision boards, we decided to incorporate this valuable tool as part of our annual business plan at UDGI. Each year when the corporate staff meets to outline our goals for the coming year, we also discuss our vision board and what we want it to represent. This is a picture of the 2008 UDGI vision board that hangs in our corporate office.
Everyday it is a visual reminder to each of us of what we want to manifest at UDGI, not only as a team, but in our personal lives as well.
We encourage you to make a vision board for yourselves and for your office. The day you have a clear vision of the reality you want to create, the day you stop making any excuses about manifesting your vision, that's the day you start on the road to success.
